Utility crews are set to close down an intersection near Guelph General next week for a 24-hour period.
According to the city, Guelph-Hydro/Alectra crews will close Delhi Street at Speedvale Avenue East on July 27 for ongoing utility work, including replacing poles, anchors and conductors in the immediate area.
The closure will also allow crews to install new underground hydro infrastructure across Delhi.
The intersection will be closed for the 27th of July, and during that time, traffic will be redirected down Metcalfe street and Emma street.
Sidewalks will remain open, but access in the area might be restricted. Any one walking in the area is advised to follow all posted notices.
