Comfort Inn robbed early on Saturday at gunpoint

A lone caucasian male entered the Comfort Inn Hotel in the north end of Guelph around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning and brandished a firearm in front of a staff member, demanding cash that he then received before fleeing the area, police said.

No one was injured as a result of the incident, Guelph Police said in a press release, but anyone with information that could lead them to the suspect are asked to contact the service.

The suspect is described as a caucasian man or medium build in his 20s and is around 5’11”, seen wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident.
