Dual males charged in Carden Street drug bust

Police also found bikes, likely stolen.

Two males, a 32-year-old and a 27-year-old face seven charges for a variety of charges after a search warrant was executed in an apartment on Carden Street on Friday morning.

The first man faces charges over possessing fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of a prohibited device, possession of a prohibited device take by a crime and trafficking in stolen property.

The 27-year-old faces just possession of fentanyl and a breach of recognizance. Both appeared in bail court later on Friday, Guelph Police said in a press release.

Police were able to recover a number of bike parts and bicycles, ammunition, a cross bow and a variety of power tools.
